Liquid Lotus

This is the first album that Maz has ever planned to release. The album consists of 9 different songs, each pertaining to a particular Indian Raga. Maz sings in Hindi, Farsi, and English while bringing in vocal textures based on syllables of the ancient Indian Dhrupad tradition. Liquid Lotus is more of a journey then a set of songs that simply play one track to the next. The album glides through everything from ambient textures to full blown rhythmic trance movements. His unique style of expression paired with world instruments creates a soundscape that is quite unique.
